Senior Residential Support Worker

Location: Heaton Chapel, SK4

Hours: Full-Time - 37 hours per week + Overtime Available

Salary: £13.77 per hour + Sleep-in Allowance £50 per shift

Shifts: 10am to 10.30pm day shift, sleeper shift: 10.30pm to 7am; finish at 10am

 

Our client is seeking a Senior Residential Support Worker to join their team in Stockport, providing care and support for children/young people (ages 8-17) with complex needs, challenging behaviours, or learning disabilities.

 

Key Responsibilities for the Senior Residential Support Worker role:

 

- Shift work in a residential care home supporting long-term care and transitions to semi-independent living

- Leading and supervising staff teams, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, policies, and regulations

- Contributing to care planning, risk assessments, reviews, and participating in staff meetings

 

Requirements for the Senior Residential Support Worker role:

 

- Level 3 Diploma in "Children and Young People's Workforce" or equivalent (essential)

- Experience working in a residential setting with children/young people (essential)

- Experience in a senior role, leading and supervising staff

- Full driving license (preferred)

- Knowledge of County Lines, CSE and Complex Trauma
