Service Manager (RMN) - Mental Health Care

Location: Mansfield, Nottingham

Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm

 

Time Recruitment are supporting a small organisation in their search for a Service Manager that operates three services across Nottinghamshire and has consistently been recognised as one of the Top 20 Small Care Home Groups by Care Home UK.

 

The service is a purpose-built, 70-bed mental health home supporting both adults under and over 65. The home focuses on recovery pathways and managing challenging behaviours, offering a modern, therapeutic environment for residents.

 

You'll be supported as a Service Manager by a highly experienced RMN COO and nominated individual, alongside a strong multidisciplinary team (MDT) including an in-house occupational therapist, physiotherapist, and speech & language therapists.

 

Key Responsibilities for the Service Manager role:

 

-     Lead staff recruitment, retention, and development

-     Drive occupancy levels and contribute to marketing initiatives

-     Conduct complex mental health assessments

-     Oversee safeguarding and risk management processes

-     Build strong relationships with families and external stakeholders

-     Ensure high-quality care planning and delivery

-     Liaise effectively with CQC and ICB regulators

-     Manage rota planning and workforce scheduling

-     Take responsibility for budget management and financial oversight
