I am representing a fit out main contractor based in the South West who are looking to appoint a full time Site Manager.
Location of works: Portsmouth, Southampton, Bournemouth, Poole Job sector: Retail, Leisure, Residential Job Values:£100K-£2M Shift pattern: Monday-Friday
Duties & Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish. Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans. Coordinate and manage the project team, including construction workers, subcontractors, and suppliers. Assign tasks, provide guidance, and ensure efficient collaboration among team members. Manage and allocate resources such as labor, equipment, and materials. Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to project specifications, building codes, and safety regulations. Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential issues or risks. Liaise with architects, engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project coordination.
Requirements for the role:
5+ years at Site Manager level Based in the South West Construction/Main contractor background Fit out experience SMSTS and First Aid qualified
