✂️ Cutting Operative

Location: Poynton Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, Rotating Shifts (06:00–14:00 / 08.00-16.00/14:00–22:00) Department: Production / Cutting Operations Industry: Heavy Manufacturing

🔧 Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC laser cutting machinery to produce precision-cut metal components

• Read and interpret technical drawings and process work orders accurately

• Conduct routine equipment checks and basic maintenance

• Meet production targets while maintaining high quality standards

• Work collaboratively with team members in cutting and fabrication areas

• Follow all health, safety, and environmental protocols

• Accurately complete shift records and materials usage logs

💪 Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in laser cutting or sheet metal operations

• Comfortable working with heavy materials in an industrial setting

• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

• Familiarity with CNC processes; basic programming knowledge is a plus

• Reliable, punctual, and motivated to work rotating shifts

• FLT licence or overhead crane experience is advantageous
