They are now seeking a skilled Soldering Operative to join their dynamic production team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring high‑quality output across a range of electrical and mechanical components.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions
- Carry out precise soldering, wiring, cable work, and crimping tasks
- Inspect and test components to ensure they meet strict quality standards
- Identify and resolve minor production issues
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in soldering operations, including wiring, cable work, and crimping
- Confident in reading and understanding technical drawings and schematics
- Skilled in using a range of hand tools and equipment relevant to soldering and electrical assembly
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high‑quality work
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, team‑focused environment
- Good problem‑solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting
Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 08:00 - 17:00
- Friday: 08:00 - 13:00
Rate of Pay
- £12.21 per hour
- This position will become permanent following a successful qualifying period
