Accounts Assistant (Sage 50) 

Location: Stockport Working Pattern: Office-based Hours:

  • Monday-Thursday: 08:00-17:00

     

  • Friday: 08:00-14:00

     

About the Role

Our client in Stockport is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant with strong Sage 50 skills who can hit the ground running. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their workload, and thrives in a busy office environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Raising Purchase Orders (POs)

     

  • Raising Sales Invoices

     

  • Invoice payment reconciliation

     

  • Updating Debtors and Creditors

     

  • Ledger control and maintenance

     

Desirable Additional Experience

  • Agency hours matching

     

  • Monthly permanent payroll summary from T&A systems

     

  • Stock counting

     

  • Materials ordering and stock support

     

Ideal Candidate

  • Confident using Sage 50 from day one

     

  • Strong attention to detail

     

  • Able to work independently and manage priorities

     

  • Comfortable in an office-based role
