Location: Stockport Working Pattern: Office-based Hours:
- Monday-Thursday: 08:00-17:00
- Friday: 08:00-14:00
About the Role
Our client in Stockport is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant with strong Sage 50 skills who can hit the ground running. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership of their workload, and thrives in a busy office environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Raising Purchase Orders (POs)
- Raising Sales Invoices
- Invoice payment reconciliation
- Updating Debtors and Creditors
- Ledger control and maintenance
Desirable Additional Experience
- Agency hours matching
- Monthly permanent payroll summary from T&A systems
- Stock counting
- Materials ordering and stock support
Ideal Candidate
- Confident using Sage 50 from day one
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work independently and manage priorities
