My Client is one of the largest manufacturers and distributers of desserts and speciality foods in the UK. Based from their manufacturing site in Manchester a verity of fresh and frozen foods to clients across the UK. We are looking for a qualified bakery mixer to join our amazing team. Mixer Responsibilities include: Measuring and combining ingredients and using mixers, blenders, heat sources, and other equipment to make baked goods, such as cakes. Testing ingredients and finished goods to ensure that each item meets food safety and quality controls. Keeping records relating to inventory, ingredient quality and production levels. To produce baked goods such as brownies, scones, sponge cakes etc to company recipe To be able to meet company standards and production expectations after training To be able to understand and operate equipment such as mixers, sheeters, depositors and oven To be conscious and proactive regarded health and safety Candidates must show: Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products Basic math skills Ability to maintain our high-quality standards Strong communication, time management, and planning skills. Awareness of and willingness to follow strict health and safety rules Ability to work unsupervised The hours of work are usually 06:00am to 14:30pm however this can vary so flexibility will be required.
