My client is an award-winning accountancy firm who have been voted as one of the best places to work in the UK. They're currently looking for a bookkeeper to join their team in Ellesmere Port. You'll be working as part of a professional and friendly firm of Accountants and have previous background of working within an accountancy Firm.

As part of your induction, you'll draw up an individual development plan to ensure that you have the skills and knowledge to take your career to the next step. My client is really big on loyalty and upskilling their workforce.

The role:
* Completing reconciliations and adjustments
* Preparing and submitting VAT returns
* Advising clients
* Scanning and posting invoices

About you:
* Experience using the Xero software is ideal
* Good knowledge of VAT return processes and the various schemes
* Knowledge of accounting systems, processes and bookkeeping
* Experience of working within an accountancy practice.
