Clinical Deputy Manager
Location: Thorrington, Colchester (CO7)
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits
Full Supernumerary - Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 5pm

Time Recruitment are selecting a Clinical Deputy Manager on behalf of our large award-winning client who have over 150 care homes across the UK; specialising in primary care and elderly care; recently having been finalists at the great British care awards!

The Clinical Deputy Manager is required for a luxury service in the pleasant area of Thorrington; the service has 64 beds in total and specialises largely in residential and residential dementia care with a separate general nursing unit specialising in palliative care

You will be working alongside a longstanding and experienced home manager in delivering clinical excellence and ensuring delivery of person centered care whilst working fully supernumerary monitoring clinical governance and quality assurance.

A focal point and a major part of the management team as a Clinical Deputy Manager you will ensure end of life care is delivered holistically alongside the following duties:

* Staff training and development
* Supervisions and mentorship
* Weekly and monthly auditing
* Quality assurance and reporting
* Recruitment and induction
* Best interest assessments
* CQC notification and safeguarding
* Off duty rota planning
* Using waterlow and MUST clinical assessment tools

Who we are looking for:

* NMC registered nurse
* Leadership experience ideally in a care home/elderly setting
* Excellent clinical governance understanding
