Clinical Lead
Location: Smethwick
Salary: £23.00 + per hour
Contract: Full-time, Permanent - Days
Shifts: 36 hours - x3 8am to 4pm and x1 7am to 7pm - no on call
Time Recruitment is sourcing a Clinical Lead for a 45-bedded care home in the Smethwick area, providing both nursing and residential care.
The service is currently 80% occupied and the main priorities of the role is quality management, staff management and eventually gaining 100% occupancy; you will be teamed with a long standing deputy manager and clinical home manager.
This role is ideal for a confident, hands-on leader who can demonstrate strong governance, clinical oversight, and a commitment to driving quality improvements.
Key Responsibilities for the Clinical Lead role:
- Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and best practice
- Leading, supporting, and developing the staff team
- Supervisions and appraisals
- Support with assessments when required
- Driving continuous improvement and preparing for CQC inspection
- Maintaining high standards of resident-centred care
- Oversight for the medication management
Candidate Requirements for Clinical Lead position:
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN (RGN / RMN)
- Proven experience as a senior nurse/clinical lead or above
- Strong understanding of CQC compliance and inspection frameworks
- Confident managing nursing services
