About the Role:
Our client is currently seeking a skilled and dedicated General Engineer with expertise in Manual Milling and Turning to join their dynamic team. As a CNC Operator, you will play a key role in the manufacturing process, contributing to the production of precision components with a focus on quality and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and set up manual milling and turning machines to produce precision components.
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate and high-quality output.
Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a CNC Operator with expertise in manual milling and turning.
Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
Familiarity with a variety of materials and machining processes.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
Qualifications:
Relevant engineering qualifications or apprenticeship.
Demonstrated experience in manual milling and turning operations.
