Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Design Manager to oversee all aspects of construction design, from concept to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction design management, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of construction design, including concept development, schematic design, design development, and construction documents.
Lead and manage a team of designers and engineers, ensuring that project milestones and deadlines are met.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing regular project status updates and addressing concerns and issues as needed.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards, promoting a culture of safety in all design activities.
Manage the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring that quality and cost requirements are met.
Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement, providing guidance and support to design teams as needed.
Ensure that project documentation, including drawings, plans, specifications, and other project-related documents, are accurate and up to date.
Develop and manage project budgets and schedules, monitoring and managing project costs, risks, and changes, and developing mitigation plans as needed.

Requirements:

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire design teams to deliver high-quality work.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
Experience with design software, such as AutoCAD or Revit.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
