Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Construction Estimator to join our team. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs of construction projects, from the initial bid process to project completion. This position requires a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and labor, as well as excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Review project plans, specifications, and requirements to determine the scope of work and project needs.
Prepare accurate cost estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and other project costs using industry-standard software and tools.
Identify potential project risks and opportunities and make recommendations to minimize costs and maximize profits.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure accurate and comprehensive estimates.
Participate in bid meetings, site visits, and other project-related activities as needed.
Maintain accurate records of all estimate-related documents, including drawings, plans, and specifications.
Provide support to project teams during the construction phase, including change order requests and budget revisions.
Continually evaluate and improve estimating processes and procedures to ensure accuracy, consistency, and efficiency.

Requirements:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in commercial or industrial construction.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex project plans and specifications.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with project teams, clients, and subcontractors.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Understanding of construction industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to quality and customer service.
