Job description

We are currently seeking skilled and experienced Forklift Truck Operators with valid in-date UK licenses to join our client's team in Dukinfield. As a Forklift Truck Operator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods within busy industrial environments. Responsibilities:

* Safely manoeuvre forklifts in busy industrial environments to transport goods
* Stack and unstack large quantities of goods onto shelves or pallets in a secure manner
* Move goods from storage areas to loading areas for transportation
* Unload deliveries and relocate goods to their designated storage areas safely
* Maintain cleanliness and safety in forklift driving areas, promptly addressing any spills or obstructions
* Regularly inspect forklift equipment for faults or damages and report any issues
* Utilize industrial plastic wraps and wooden pallets to securely stack and package goods for transport
* Adhere to health and safety requirements and follow proper forklift operating procedures
* Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods
* Operate the coating machine, coordinating materials, and carrying out quality checks
* Provide support and assistance to the Senior Operator in the day-to-day running of the Coating Machine

Requirements:

* Valid in-date UK forklift truck li Forklift Truck Operator license (Counterbalance&Rich)
* Previous experience operating a forklift truck in a busy industrial environment
* Excellent understanding of safe forklift operation and material handling practices
* Ability to efficiently stack and unstack goods with precision and care
* Attention to detail to ensure proper documentation and quality checks
* Strong commitment to health and safety protocols
* Good physical condition, capable of lifting and moving heavy loads
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team

The working hours for this position are rotating shifts from 06:00-14:00/14.00-22.00/22.00-06.00. The hourly rate of pay is £13.04
