Time Recruitment Solutions are recruiting for a well-established client based in Middleton. Due to ongoing expansion, our client is seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Fabricator / Welder to join their team.

Job Description:

As a Sheet Metal Fabricator / Welder, you will be responsible for fabricating sheet metal components and performing welding tasks to a high standard. The role demands a hands-on approach and the ability to work from engineering drawings to produce precise and accurate work.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform MIG welding on various metal components.
Conduct general sheet metal work including cutting, bending, and shaping.
Operate press-brake machinery to bend and shape sheet metal.
Utilise a variety of hand tools for metal fabrication tasks.
Interpret and work from engineering drawings to ensure accurate production.
Maintain a high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail in all tasks.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health and safety standards.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
Required Skills and Experience:

Proven experience in MIG welding.
Strong knowledge and practical experience in general sheet metal work.
Proficiency in operating press-brake machines.
Skilled in the use of various hand tools for metal fabrication.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
