Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a meticulous and proactive Stock Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, forecasting demand, and ensuring the efficient management of our inventory. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating closely with internal teams and suppliers to optimize stock control operations.

Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor stock levels and forecast demand to prevent overstocking and
out-of-stock situations.
* Maintain accurate records of stock movements, transactions, and
inventory levels.
* Identify and investigate stock discrepancies, implementing corrective
actions as necessary.
* Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery of
stock.
* Track shipments, oversee inventory audits, and maintain reports of
purchases and pricing.
* Coordinate stock control operations with warehouse staff, sales, and
finance departments.
* Analyse supply chain data to ensure uninterrupted availability of stock.
* Evaluate vendors and suppliers' offers, negotiating profitable purchase
prices.

Requirements:
* Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
* Proven experience in stock control, inventory management, or a similar
role.
* Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks
effectively.
* Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
