Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (Intermediate-Senior Level)

Location: Warrington

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000 (DOE)

Overview

Our client is a well-established general contractor based in Warrington, delivering Design & Build projects across the commercial and industrial sectors. They are looking to appoint an Intermediate to Senior Quantity Surveyor to support ongoing growth across a strong pipeline of work.

The role will be split between the office and live sites, with occasional working from home available when required.

Project Details

• Sectors: Hotels, Industrial Units, Commercial Builds (no residential)

   

• Project Values: £1m - £10m

   

• Procurement: Design & Build / General Construction

   

• Typical workload: 2-3 projects concurrently

   

Key Responsibilities

• Full commercial management of projects from pre-contract through to final account

   

• Preparing and managing cost plans, budgets, and cash flows

   

• Procurement and management of subcontract packages

   

• Valuations, variations, and change control

   

• Monthly cost reporting and financial forecasting

   

• Final accounts and commercial close-out

   

• Liaising with site teams, clients, consultants, and subcontractors

   

• Ensuring projects are delivered profitably and in line with contractual requirements

   

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience as a Quantity Surveyor

   

• Intermediate to Senior level experience within general construction / D&B

   

• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

   

• Strong commercial and contractual knowledge

   

• IT literate, with good working knowledge of Excel

   

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

   

• Ability to work effectively between office and site environments
