We are recruiting a care home cook on behalf of our client. The client manages a 44-bedded care home offering rehabilitation for adults who experience mental health issues. Based in Trafford, rhey were rated 'Good' in their latest CQC report.

Key responsibilities:
* Ensuring the food preparation areas are clean and hygienic
* Washing utensils and dishes and making sure they are stored appropriately
* Sorting, storing and distributing ingredients
* Washing, peeling, chopping, cutting and cooking foodstuffs and helping to prepare salads and desserts
* Disposing of rubbish
* Organising linen laundry
* Cleaning the food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools or areas

Location: Trafford, Manchester
Hours: 8am-5:30pm
Pay rate: £12.50
Must have a Level 3 Food Safety Qualification and a Level 2 Health & Safety.
