Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive industry experience in retail fit out and will be responsible for preparing accurate bid management and full estimates to present to customers. The role involves working on projects ranging from £50K to £1Mil on average. The ideal candidate will have a steady CV, with a preference for candidates with client-facing communication skills. Age is not a factor in the selection process, and salary will be determined based on experience (DOE). Proficiency in IT and Excel is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate bid management and full estimates from drawings, specifications, bill of quantities, or verbal descriptions from clients to win new business.
Promote the company positively, actively seek new opportunities, and establish strong relationships with clients.
Maximize income and profitability for the company by securing new and future business.
Requirements:
At least 5-10 years of industry experience in estimating roles.
Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with clients.
Proficiency in IT and Excel.
Demonstrated ability to work on projects ranging from £50K to £1Mil.
Steady work history with a preference for candidates who have spent 4 years at a company at a time or 3-4 companies over 15 years.
