Time Recruitment Solutions are currently working with a leading Design & Manufacturer based in Trafford Park, Manchester.
With a dedicated team of engineers, their expertise is primarily design and manufacture of plastic components, using the injection moulding process, however, they can also offer additional services in extrusion, metal pressings, turned parts and insert moulding.
Their production facility, in Trafford Park, is housed in modern buildings with the latest CNC controlled injection moulding machines. Production capacity is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, with optional storage facilities for key products in the supply chain.
Now due to continued success and an ever growing order book they are now looking to expand and as such are looking for an experienced Injection Moulder Setter to join the business.
About the role: * Monitoring production processes ensuring optimum running conditions * Tooling changeovers * Resolving machine related production/quality issues in an efficient and timely manner * Providing efficient end of shift handovers * Produce quality moulded products * Monitor and maintain quality in accordance with specification * Use fork truck and manual means to move raw material and finished products * Perform tool trials * Help achieve optimum production * Make every effort to keep moulded product scrap to a minimum * Maintain clean and tidy workplace and good housekeeping within the factory * Follow and understand operating procedures and job sheets for moulded products * Inform the Production Manager immediately of any breaches of the works rules
KPI's: * Production Downtime * Scrap Levels * Quality Complaints * Machine Efficiencies * House Keeping
Knowledge / Skills & Experience: * Previous experience as an Injection Moulding Technician / Setter * Fork Lift License * Multi-Tasking * Good knowledge of plastics and the uses/properties
