We are working with a fit out contractor who complete UK nationwide construction projects who have recently expanded the business and who are looking to appoint a Junior Contracts Manager to assist on variety of their retail frameworks.

* Nationwide travel
* No preference for location of candidate but advantageous to be in the Southeast of England with easier access to HQ
* Fit Out Contractor specialising in retail, commercial and leisure projects in the UK
* Project values: £100K-£3M
* Fast track retail roll outs
* Mixture of remote working and site visits
* Full Time Permanent
* Salary: £48,000-£52,000 plus car allowance, pension, annual leave, private healthcare etc.
* Start date: September

Duties will include attending site, subcontractor management, collaborating and shadowing Contracts Managers within the team to coordinate project delivery and maintain budget, client management and liaison, overseeing and quality checking installation, organising, and coordinating snagging if required, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, reporting and updating status of jobs on software including Microsoft Projects and third-party applications.

This is an opportunity for the right candidate to get hands-on and direct mentorship from a team of highly experienced senior construction professionals who are keen to invest time and train an ambitious Junior Contracts Manager. This is a fast-paced role so the ideal candidate will have a fast-track background and be naturally intuitive.

Candidate requirements

Essential

* 2-3 years' experience at either Contracts or Project Manager level in Construction
* Experience within the fit-out sector
* Fast track background
* Must have a full/clean UK Driving License

Desirable

* Trade background (Joinery/Carpentry)
* Retail and/or roll out experience.
* Live within the Southeast of England
